These sweet typographical treats are super adorable. I could see these used for a variety of events, and adding some sweet pizazz. Vintage Confections has a variety of different treats for sale. Martha Stewart suggested using them as table markers (see the bottom photo). I might have to remember these for my little guy's 5th Birthday.

{ Hillary Swank's Place }

Hillary Swank's Manhattan apartment is featured over at Elle Decor. I'm loving the reclaimed barn wood on those walls, and the mix of light and dark hues. Everything seems very geometric, which I'm not normally attracted to...but this is such a nice mix, I'm digging it! Relaxing and somewhat organic...right up my alley. Full story and images here.

Loving some the new wallpaper patterns over at Hygge & West. I'm kind of feeling all that glitsy gold stuff. Never saw myself as a razmatazz type of dweller, but maybe I could live with it? All styles and other color options here.

Ran across Vera Wang's 2012 wedding collection via the wedding chics...holy crap, gasp, sigh, sheesh, wowza! I want to own this one so that I can put it on and dance around my living room when I'm feeling not so beautiful... (a dress like that could probably turn anyone into a princess). { Textured Walls }

My guest room has been on my mind for some time now. It needs some TLC, for sho'. Needs a new paint color and some new linens, but I wanted to first think about the overall feel. I had an a-ha moment via HGTV the other day...mama wants some texture on an accent wall. Budgetarily (pretty sure I made that word up) speaking, it will probably be in the form of some textured wall paper. Discussed this with my girls Kristine (from A Graceful Home) and Tobe (over at Because It's Awesome) and I'm pretty sure I got the support I needed to go ahead and make this a reality. Like any good over-analytical designer, first comes some research...

Also on a side note, visited Tobe's lovely new home and I must say, that shizzle it TIGHT!  She is definitely gonna make that place a beautiful Tobe masterpiece. Thanks for having me over, sista!

{ 2012 calendar round-up }

It's January 8th...which means, I need to get my shizzle together. Yes, I thought by the 1st I'd be well orga-ma-nized and all put together and whatnot...sadly, this did not happen. I did manage to do a search of lovely calendars that I may purchase to look cute on my desk and make me look like I know what's going on, but that is about the extent of it, and of course these are so darn lovely, that I will never write on them and deface the loveliness that is. Another option would be to design my own, but that would involve me being even more organized than I already am not. You see the dilemma?

So cozy for winter, I'm digging knit bedding and interior accessories.  Almost makes me want to learn how to knit...almost...  Although, it would be a good thing to do while my kid watches Tangled for the 1,000th time, ah, who am I kidding...I watch it, too.  Check out this lovely collection of fun finds, makes me want to curl up with a good book and hibernate!
