{ Vintage Bottles }

I found some beautiful photos of vintage glass bottle inspiration at Birch + Bird.  I love all things glass and would love to display some in my home.  I'm really in love with anything blue or green, so I was excited to see shades grouped together...I also love this idea to display photos in the bottles.

{ Nan Lawson }

Came across Nan Lawson's etsy shop and had to share her sweet and quirky illustrations and prints.  Her shop is full of fun little things, including handmade goods.  I really like her typographic prints and delicately drawn characters.  She'll even create custom portraits if you contact her.  Here are a few that I thought were worth posting.

{ Perfect Poufs }

I am really excited about poufs (...or pouffes, as I've also seen them spelled)...I must buy one for my home.  Even if I don't ever use it to sit on or lounge, I think it would be the perfect little floor accent.  Here are a few I've found that I am loving.

1. Rattan Pouf at Apartment Therapy  2. Beignet Pouf {Calypso St. Barth} 3. Leeka Pouf {Missoni Home} 4. Kuba Jaipuri Pouf {Calypso St. Barth} 5. knitted pouf {CB2} 6. Suede Grey Pouf {le souk}

...and in all my pouf excitement, I came across this image at apartment therapy.  Outdoor poufs!!!!  I love them and might need to continue investigating.  Otherwise, enjoy this lovely photo.  These will be perfect for Spring!

{ minted }

I love invitations and paper goods of all kinds. Minted is a great resource for ideas and inspiration and there are so many beautiful ones on the site that I couldn't pick just a few to show you.  You should definitely check out the site to browse through all of them.

{ Back to Bed }

I am sleepy...and that is why I'm inspired by bedding today.  I love textures and fluidity, but I also love a big bold statement.  I found some pretty fun sets online and thought that I would share them.  I might become one of those people that has to change their bedding several times a year.  With so many amazing choices, why not?

{ Bailey Doesn't Bark }

Today's weather is amazing!  It's breezy and spring-like.  For some reason, this collection by Re Jin at bailey doesn't bark seems quite appropriate for a day like today.  Her contemporary home and life accessories are light and airy with a touch of wit.  Love her use of understated gold accents, but my favorite has to be her ants on my cushion pillow...it made me smile.

{ A Little Distressed }

I love all things natural...and if you add a modern twist...sigh.  This is what I am loving right now.  Distressed naturals, mixed with a little contemporary edge and a little simplicity.

{ In Love With Photography }

I love photography, particularly black and whites and sepia...but little brown pen has discovered a way to convert me to color, by offering little collections sold by color scheme.  These are so adorable, I want to buy them all!

{ Ferm Living }

Check out Ferm Living. This home decor site has a lot to offer in terms of inspiration in home details.

I love the variety of textures and design in their pillow collections.  Very graphic and unique.

It's definitely worth a visit to check out the wallpaper collection.
These patterns would add so much to a room without much effort. I love wallpaper!

{ Crazy About Clutches }

I am in a shopping mood.  Whenever I get in this mood, I have to focus, and today I am thinking about finding a cute clutch for Spring.  I want to buy one that can be used for evenings out, but also dress up a casual outfit.  Maybe jeans and a clutch?  Lovin' these that I've found.  Of course, like many things, my taste is rather expensive, but I think there are some great ideas here!

{ Lotta }

I am a big fan of Lotta Jansdotter.  Her illustrations are whimsical and unique, and I love how she translates them to her bags and home products.  She even has many books that she has contributed to that many crafters would enjoy and find inspirational.  She has also recently re-designed her website that features exclusive collections with items printed in limited quantities.

{ The Perfect Pendant }

Love a good pendant lamp, and finding a unique one gets me super excited.  I think that putting up a pendant light with an interesting design can really be a simple way to add a little life to a room.  It can be unexpected and add so much!

1. Meridian Pendant { 2modern }  2. Retro Honeycomb { Shades of Light } 3. Petals Field Pendant { paper cloud }  4. Modern Berries { oilo }
5. Trellis Linen Drum Shade { Shades of Light } 6. Ceramic Sprout { Jonathan Adler }

{ Kim Ficaro }

I came accross Kim Ficaro's website recently and was inspired by her prop stylings.  Her credentials include stylings for Anthropology, West Elm, and Domino magazine to name a few.  LOVE her use of organic elements mixed with classic neutrals in her interior work.

It's also worth a visit to see her still life photo stylings.  Here's a sample of a few I thought were beautiful.

{ pinterest }

If you aren't familiar with pinterest yet, you are in for a treat!  This site is the ultimate place for delightful time-suckage.  If you like to look at pretty things on the internet and you would like a place to see everything you love in a neatly compiled cyber-board, than this is the site you need to join.  Here's a screen shot of what you can expect (click on the shot to enlarge).

I have found some great sites through here, and it's really neat to see what inspires other people.  You can check out my boards and visit the site here. Happy Pinning!

{ welcome }

I have an affinity for typography and letters, so I thought these awesome posters would be a great way to get this blog going.  I am considering hanging these in my son's room.  I love everything about this first one, even the way that SparklePower showcases the design with that cute striped tape.  AND it's only $15...one thing I've been doing in my home is buying fun prints on etsy and getting good deals on frames and cutting my own mats.  It's an affordable way to add unique art to your rooms

This screenprint is pretty adorable.  Love the idea of taking a few letters out of the alphabet to send a message.  I had the idea to create something like this, and instead of a word, you could spell out a name, I love personalizing things!

I'll have to post some pictures of the prints I've bought and framed from etsy so far.
